EBO Group Wins Two Awards for Outstanding Occupational Safety: EBO Group

MEDINA, OH - EBO Group, Inc. is the recipient of two safety awards by the Medina County Safety Council. The 100% Award was presented for outstanding effort by supervisory personnel and employees in operating the entire year without a lost time injury. In addition, the Group Award was presented for Best Safety Record within group of like companies.

The Medina Safety Council presented the award to Karen Carson, Corporate Administrator, and Mike Shivak, Facility Manager of EBO Group, Inc. during the 55th annual Safety Award Banquet on April 20, 2010 at Weymouth Country Club in Medina.

The Medina County Safety Council, co-sponsored by BWC’s Division of Safety & Hygiene and the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce, was established to promote education in all areas of safety as it relates to all businesses in the county and their employees. The Safety Council sponsors a safety award campaign to promote greater interest in the prevention of occupational accidents. Companies with the best safety records during the year are honored at this annual awards event. Awards are determined and provided by BWC’s Division of Safety and Hygiene.
